In 2025, the North City Integrated Neighbourhood Team was created, spearhead by Sarah Young of the Integrated Care Board (ICB).
This Team consists of individuals and teams across organisations in the area, such as the Council (Housing/Social Care), Practice Clinicians and Social Prescribers, the voluntary sector and mental health organisations.
The Team seeks to reduce health inequalities present in the RITA area (reducing inequality target areas) identified by the council, including but not limited to issues regarding, mental health, respiratory health, alcohol and substance misuse and patients with digital and housing issues that prevent them being able to access health care.
