About us

We are a not for profit healthcare collaborative, and are wholly within the NHS family. There are no external shareholders taking out profits.

After six years of working together developing high quality services, the five practices of Central Norwich Primary Care Network (PCN) formalised their relationship to become a Community Interest Company (CIC).

Lakenham Surgery, St Stephens Gate, UEA Medical Centre, Castle Partnership and West Pottergate are all high-quality, well-regarded practices and have developed a network of out of hours patient care, a rapid and responsive Home Care service, and excellent work with our key residential and nursing care homes.

The NHS plans to develop Neighbourhood services over the next few years and Norwich Health is already fully participating in that work. We have developed a strong community network of early morning, evening and weekend appointments based on patient needs. An example of our proactive and data led approach was a project we ran to identify undiagnosed prostate cancer cases.

We are participating in the development of the Norfolk Collaborative, and working with the region’s Hospitals and other service providers to help shape the development of community services for the next ten years or so.
